These are very lightweight and comfortable. One of mine split but it was nothing a little super glue could fix. Now it looks good as new! The flares are not very pronounced but since the material is so porous they stay put.

Bought these for a friend and he loved them. The flares weren't too big and fit fine in his (healed) 4g lobes.

These are my go-to every day plugs. They look so nice and are so light and comfortable. They stay in place and are easy to clean and take care of. Highly recommended.

These have been my primary plugs since I finished healing my 5/8" stretches. When they first arrived, they were slightly lighter in color and have darkened since then, which is to be expected with use and oiling. The faces of the plugs are superb-looking: the pattern of the wood looks almost like lepoard-print. The size of the patterns on both plugs are different - the 'spots' on one plug are about half the size as the 'spots' on the other - but since you're talking about natural wood here, that's also to be expected, and besides that, it breaks up the look a bit, which is nice. The faces are also convex, but not so noticeably as to be ridiculous; it's a very gentle outward flare that looks really great. This jewelry is light and easy to sleep in (a bonus), easy to insert and remove if your ears are fully healed, inhibit the growth of sebum (ear cheese) and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a natural plug.

Very nice coconut plugs. Good wood if you are looking for light jewelry.

I bought these for lazy days where I didnt feel like wearing stone plugs. Theyre really cute, the flares are quite small though and I always forget to take them out before I shower so they've warped a little

Great looking plugs. A little hard to get in, but with some jojoba oil it makes it a lot easier. They go great with my bamboo plugs

These plugs are beyond gorgeous; they're neutrals, which means you can wear them with anything, and they look just like leopard print! These plugs are the perfect shape and size and look just like they do in the photos; I love them.

good quality plugs! flares are small, but still existent. coconut wood is very interesting looking with a consistent pattern. until I grew out of these, I think these were my most worn pair of plugs. loved them!

I bought these in 1 1/2. They are lightwiegh, but a lil rough on the flare. Theyre not polished alot. Still great for the price.

These are a bit long for my ears but I still adore them. The wood tends to darken a bit over time but not much. The flares are a bit drastic but nothing a little lube wont help.

I love these! The coconut looks like super fine cheetah print! SO cute! A very nice alternative to acrylic or steel plugs, I LOVE how light the coconut feels in my ears, as well as how many comments I get on them all the time! Worth the money for sure!

These plugs are great! So lightweight and easy to wear, with a nice finish and excellent detail. From the pick they looked a little orange but they're more neutral, go-with-most-things kind of plugs. They healed up an angry blowout in no time. Love them.

These are fantastic plugs. However, the flare is sharp so I rounded off the back side of each plug with some sand paper. After a few months of wear these will darken and look incredible.

Beautiful pair of plugs, however I had difficulty getting them into my ears and it took a while wearing some heavy earrings before they finally went in. Be sure to keep them well oiled. Other than that, though, gorgeous plugs, very comfortable in my ears.

I really do love these! I have hardley taken them out since they arrived! Exactly what I wanted and more. The wood is excelent as it lets my ears breath so they dont get gunky and are comfortable I can leave them in day and night. Plus they are beautiful!!

I purchased these for the second time after going up a few sizes and the 1/2 in just wasnt as big as I had hoped. I understand that natural products can vary from their intended size, but these double flares definitely need o-rings to stay in place. Aside from that, I would DEFINITELY take the chance of buying these in another size. The material is wonderful on my ears.

These are great! They're very light, and I can hardly tell I'm wearing them. The patterns in the wood grain show up well at this size, and I get compliments on them all the time. Plus, you can't beat the price... thanks BAF!

These are awesome. The size is perfect. The flares are a little small, but the wood will hold them in, I'm sure. They have a gorgeous shiny finish and just like another review said (which is why I bought them) they look like animal print but organic. Thanks BAF!

These are beautiful! The color is perfect and they are even prettier than what I thought they would look like. The only thing was that they were a little hard to put on, my ears aren't that flexible so I had to wear a little ointment to pass them right through.

These are awesome. Very smooth. The pattern and coloration are very unique. I think it's a bit expensive considering the material is very cheap, but it's great looking so I guess the price is not so bad.

Gauge purchased: 1/2". These are nice and simple and very lightweight. The flares are pretty small, but mine still stay in place just fine. While I like these plugs, I think they look better in larger sizes.

Gauge purchased: 1" coconut
I love these plugs, they fit and look great. But I do need oil to keep them from drying.
Posted on 12/14/2008
Gauge purchased: 1/2". these are absolutely perfect. The size is a perfect 1/2' and the flares are just between 1/2" and 9/16". Both plugs are the same size and the patterns match almost perfectly. Love love love em!!! Much better than i expected, being organics!

Gauge purchased: 3/4. I just got these in the mail today. These are the second pair of coconut plugs that i have had. They are amazing! I'll definitly be ordering more when i stretch again. Thanks BAF!!!

I LOVE these. They give the effect of a leopard print.
Posted on 10/22/2008
Gauge purchased: 10ga My pair of coconut plugs is a bit smaller than 10ga but that is to be expected. The flares are very gentle so there is no problem with getting them in.
Posted on 9/29/2008
Gauge purchased: 1/2"
i absolutely love these. they are my 'default' pair. they are lightweight and the flares on mine were perfect. there is little variation in the size and one is just a tad darker but unless they are side by side you'd never know. and because they absorb oil they never slide around and fall out.
Posted on 9/19/2008
Gauge purchased: 1 1/8"
this is the 2nd pair of coconut plugs that i have bought from BAF and once again they are perfect. i've had them for over 5 months now. they still look as beautiful as the day i got them.

Gauge purchased: 2ga
Coconut turns out to be a nice for making plugs. You can actually feel the grainy surface of the material. Keep in mind that since these are organic, the size of the flares will vary. They absorb lots of oil and maker sure to oil them regularly even when they are in your ear because if they dry out it gets a bit uncomfortable.

i love the little speckles in the wood and how lightweight these things are... i love wood! (thats what she said)
Posted on 6/5/2008
Gauge purchased: 11/16" I was super excited to get these. Love the Leopard pattern look! They're super light-weight which is great once you get into the bigger sizes, good quality, one of mine was noticably smaller than the other though. They look great on though!

Gauge purchased: 2g
I mainly purchased these plugs because the pattern reminded me of leopard. I was not disappointed! They are very pretty, and I was worried that since I am not a larger size that the design would be lost but it was not.
Posted on 5/13/2008
Gauge purchased: 1/2"
these were a tiny bit less than 1/2" (0.5 - 1mm maybe), but that could be expected with organics. they look just as good as the pictures - really elegant and subtle if you have dark hair. theyre really light weight too.
Posted on 5/2/2008
Gauge purchased: 1 1/8 inch.
I have had these plugs for about 4 months now and have loved every moment of it. I used to wear a lot of surgical steel and would always have problems in the winter with the cold and always used to get the stinky lobes. Since I have had these babys my ears are not too cold and I never get the lobe stink. They are awesome and recommend them to anyone with larger guages,
Posted on 4/20/2008
These are great looking plugs, plus they're really low key. However, expect the flare to be one or two sizes larger than your hole. I bought these in 6g and had to taper up to 4g and sand down the back flares just a hair to put these in and still had some difficulty getting them in. Awesome set though!
Posted on 4/9/2008
I bought these in 0g and cannot be happier. They are my first pair of wood plugs. I oil them daily so they don't crack and I don't get them wet. I love them because it kinda looks like it has tiny leopard spots on them. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.
Posted on 3/8/2008
I was a dumbass and REALLY excited to put these in and did it too soon. They were in for about a day and then adheared to my ear...so I took them out. Make sure your ears are healed before you put them in, it's worth the wait.
Posted on 3/5/2008
i ordered these plugs 10 days ago and got them today in perfect condition. so far nothing special, but i live in germany, so 10 days are really fast. a pair of these plugs cost 80bucks around here, so also a good reason to order them here. thanks BAF
Posted on 2/8/2008
I've gotten these plugs in the 6g size, 4g, and now I have 2g. I absolutely love them. They are comfortable, NEVER fall out, and they're gorgeous. Unlike a lot of plastic or glass plugs, these require very little cleaning. They tend not to get the "gunk" that other plugs get. I'd recommend these to everyone!
Posted on 12/9/2007
I just recieved these in a 10 gauge. They are beautiful! Even at a smaller size the coloring looks just like in the picture, and they are matched almost perfectly!
Posted on 11/8/2007
I just got these in today and could not wait to wear them! I have them in 4s and they're cute. I love them. My friend taught me a trick to get the double flares in so it wasn't too bad. I've only worn them for a few hours so far but I would recommend them! :)
Posted on 9/11/2007
I got these int he mail last week. Although I have't worn them yet though. to me the grain sort of looks like. thats just my opinion though. they are so beautiful ( i bought them in a 6g) i definately reccomend them! they are both unique and beautiful
Posted on 8/13/2007
I bought a pair about 2 years ago in a 5/8" and I've never taken them out. Unlike most organic jewelry they didn't spit break or crack. I LOVE THEM!
Posted on 8/12/2007
I bought these in 6g and wasn't sure what to expect as far as the coloring of the wood...but when they arrived, I got a pleasant surprise. They are perfectly matched, light tone and you can see the grain really well. Not to mention that they are very lightweight, easy to get in, and comfortable. My first pair of wood plugs and I think I'll be sticking with them for a while!

this plugs was ordered on thuseday last week, and i got them this thuesday a week later.. and i live in Sweden. the plugs are awsome, i got the 9/16 and they are fine as hell ^^

i got these babies in 3/4". they are my first pair of wood plugs, and they are *awesome*! not only are they beautiful & well-made, but they are so lightweight i don't even feel them in my ears. my pair are ever so slightly mismatched, but you can't even tell once you wear them.
absolutely great, all around. :)

BAF comment: You should avoid getting organic plugs wet.
These plugs were absolutely goregous. I teach swimming lessons and wear these in the water all the time. They have not lost colour or are distressed because of it. Very hard to find those qualities in nautral plugs. Anyways, great quality, fast shipping and extremely friendly customer service. <3
Posted on 5/5/2007
These plugs rule my life. Seriously, they are light-weight, the flare is perfect, they match perfect and they don't make your ears smell bad. I get so many compliments with these in 1/2" it's amazing. Just don't wear them in the shower!
Posted on 3/19/2007
i ordered the 1" coconut plugs and they are bad ass. they are lightweight and the flare is small. they are very pretty too :D
Posted on 2/12/2007
Beautiful, comfortable, and unique, but fragile. Take the material info & care section's advice seriously, or else you will wind up with chipping, splintering plugs that have to be trashed. Under no circumstances should these be worn in the shower, it will only end in tears.
Posted on 8/31/2006
decided to see if BAF's plugs were better than a pair i purchased from another site. the 4ga i just received were much better matched, smoother and truer to size than my others. (i usually have to leave plugs out for a few days after wearing the others so my plugs won't fall out). my brother has been wanting a pair in 2ga--and i'm glad i went ahead and ordered them. his are perfectly matched as well. couldn't be happier. doubt if i'll order from anywhere else anymore.
Posted on 5/13/2006
i have to say i was very pleased with these plugs! they are very lightweight so i often forget i have anything in and they stay in well so you dont have to worry about them falling out.
Posted on 2/26/2006
These are my first pair of wood plugs. I can only say that if other woods are half as good, I will be buying a lot of it. The wearable area is smooth but does have a few minor pit-like qualities due to the texture of the wood. When I saw those I worried. My ears are sensitive to "defects" like that. After wearing the plugs for over a week I feel I can safely say that they do not effect the jewelry's wearability at all. My body's natural oils kept the coconut well lubricated so that there was movement and breathability. Even though the jewelry is very lightweight, I think my lobes stretched while wearing them just because of the movement. This is the healthiest my lobes have looked and felt in years. Their color makes them more discrete than other jewelry, until closer inspection. Once people look a bit closer, they love their unique look. A wonderful buy.

This is was my first pair of organic plugs and I was excited to finally try them. The plugs are well-finished and proportionate in size.
I was, however, disappointed at the colour. I was expecting a much lighter colour. Instead, I have rather dark plugs which don't show off the lovely spotty quality of the wood. I guess the danger in buying organics is surprising variations.
Posted on 1/8/2006
These plugs are fantastic, there light weight and they go in pretty easy. The flare keeps them from coming out so you dont have to worry about rubberbands getting lost when you sleep.
Posted on 1/6/2006
Got two sets of these today, 1 set of 8g and one set of 6g. They are GREAT looking, I love them. The only thing is that the 8g set is really mismatched in my opinion. One is about 8g and has large flares while the other one seems barely even a 10 and has real small flares. The 6g set is perfect though, matched very well and ended up being right at 6g.
They are beautiful and I highly recommend them!
