Great quality steel eyelets for a good price :) I think they come with 2g o-rings at this size so they are super secure which is great if you are paranoid about losing your plugs and also a little tricky when trying to secure the o-rings through cartilage. Fantastic finish, fantastic eyelets

These eyelets were FLAWLESS! I bought them for my nostrils but the wearable area was just slightly too long for me. I just wore them anyway since I loved how they looked!

Bought these in 09. These were my first Industrial Strength eyelets and very happy with them. Nice big flare on the outside, very shiny, perfect finish, and very thick steel (for an eyelet). I love them. Have since stretched to 5/8.

I really had some doubts about spending this much money on some plain old steel eyelets. I figured there really couldn't be that much of a difference between these and economy plugs... oh, but how wrong I was. You really do get what you pay for. I can't believe how nice these are. They're insanely shiny, have a nice weight to them, and maybe this is random, but the front flare is totally cute. I can feel myself slowly becoming a plug snob.

Industrial strength makes some of the highest quality body jewelry I've seen. I've owned the cheaper/lower quality steel plugs too and these IS ones blow those ones out of the water. These are definitely on the heavy side but they LOOK GREAT!!! I purposely ordered the SF ones because the front flare on them are larger than those on the DF ones so they make your ears look bigger. Also! Im somewhat allergic to steel and I can handle these for a few days but I can barely wear the cheaper knockoff ones for a few hours before my ears blow up! These will not disappoint u!

Awesome quality and flawless finish. The weight is substantial for a steel eyelet but that is due to the "meat" that is left in these pieces. The wearable is rather long and the flare is huge but they look great as is and are perfect for healing or taping.

Terrific eyelets... top notch build quality! I went from the 6g Anatometal ones to these, and while I liked those, these are on a different level. For starters, these are shorter, the o-ring groove is perfectly machined, and the walls are thinner, leaving a wider tunnel visible. Polish is gorgeous. Will definitely buy spares.

These have been my favorite plugs I've ever owned. They'res a huuuuge flare and mine actually were grooved for O-rings. I love the steel look & these are super polished. I was almost sad to keep stretching and out grow them. I'll definitely keep them incase I ever downsize.

Amazing shine, but these are the longest plugs Ive ever owned. Unfortunally they were long to the point where I got them caught on a sweater and they ripped my ear. I have a pair of these in my goal size and the wearable seems much shorter so I haven't given up hope on them, just maybe not in the small sizes.

Nice basic eyelet, love 'em for wearing regular hoops through. The flare is a bit large for my ears, so when I sized up to 5/8" I went with steel tunnels instead. Can't beat Industrial Strength for value.

Not the biggest fan of these, the steel is very thick and the flare is large. I much prefer the thinner steel eyelets but they did not come in this size. Other than that, insertion was easy and the o-rings sit very securely.

These eyelets have a beautiful and shiny finish. These are my everyday plugs and look great with hoops or hanging styles! Pro: It's true that they make your holes look bigger. Con: the wearable area is longer than I like but not terribly long.

I got these when my ears hadnt been strethed to this size for very long so I didnt want to get the double flared ones. They are great quality, smooth and have no imperfections. They also make my holes look much bigger! They are sort of bulky though so I wouldnt sleep in them. Contrary to some of the reviews I checked out before buying them, I guess Id say I have average thickness lobes ndn the wearable area was fine and I actually had tones of extra room! Definitely worth the cash.

I was glad these were not super long and that the flares are identical on the pair. The flare was a bit small since it kept tilting through my hole when I would shower or wear something heavy through them. If you keep them in for a day or so it seems to tighten up so it worked in the end.

Have bought these in 35mm and 38mm and loved them so didn't hesitate to order them in 41mm. To my surprise they changed the design and considerably shortened the wearable area on them. They are too short for my thick lobes and are quite uncomfortable compared to the old design :(
Even asking for the longer wearable area they were still too short. First time i've ever been dissapointed with this product

Gauge purchased: 3/4". I think I might be the only one who doesn't like these. They're quality, nice looking, etc., but I do not like how large the flare is. It makes my (average) lobes seem so thin.

Gauge purchased: 00g
I got these after having my lobes scalpelled because I needed something more lightweight and shorter than the initial GWS colorfronts I had in. They're excellent quality with a mirror polish, the flares are large enough that they don't slip out of my now overly stretchy ears, and the wearable area is perfect. The o-rings also stay on the grooves well so I never have to worry about losing them. I'll be getting more pairs of these as I stretch up eventually.
Posted on 9/30/2008
I purchased these in 1 1/2" awhile back from BAF and I must say that they are amazing! I really recommend picking up the IS ones rather than the cheaper ones. Everyone can see the high quality of this steel, i get so many compliments on them. Just cough up the extra money and pick these up, you won't regret it!

I got these in 6g for stretching my nostrils. They worked just fine and have healed well. My problem is the flair looks ridiculously huge when wearing them in nostrils. It looks I'm at a 4g, not a 6g. I guess they would be fine for most other locations though.

i've had these in 1 1/8" and 1 3/8". both pairs have been absolutely flawless. no seams, beautiful mirror finish, and they're actually long enough! my lobes are rather thick, so finding plugs that are long enough is a bitch. these guys get me tons of compliments, even from my closed-minded, conservative family =). pricey (especially in bigger sizes), but sooo worth it.

Holy MOLEY these are HUGE! There is less open area in these than were in my 1/2" pair. I found the 1/2" much 'daintier' and the 9/16". great for a guy if thats what you're into, but I'd prefer a lighter/thinner eyelet. I would also suggest getting the smaller sized O-rings for these eyelets to ensure a snug fit. I am using the silicone 1/2" O-rings and they are perfect.
Posted on 6/24/2008
Gauge: 3/4"
Not much to say about these as flared steel eyelets are pretty much standard in every pierced person's collection - who doesn't have a pair?
These particular ones though I like alot in comparison to different 'brands' of eyelet, the depth on the 3/4" ones is just a nice fit for my lobes and the flare is not too big or too small.
If I've any criticism of these it's that mine have a visible join on the inside where perhaps they haven't been polished out as well as they could have been - it's not especially noticeable but it's a shame on what would otherwise be a perfect eyelet.
Posted on 6/21/2008
Gauge purchased: Half Inch. I would highly recommend these gauges for anyone who is at their "final" size. I had never purchased anything more than tapers and cheap plugs before, so I was a little apprehensive at the higher price. These gauges are flawless and worth the money. The metal is durable but not heavy and even after months of wear the polish maintains its shine. The flare makes your gauges appear larger than they are. The O-Rings have never fallen off because the groove is not shallow. A tad pricey for a pair of large gauges but worth it.
Posted on 6/18/2008
Gauge purchased: 1 3/8" (35mm)
Ok let me begin by saying great tunnels very shiny so on and so forth pretty much what everyone has said. But i recommend if buying these plugs over 1" when you get to choose the free o-rings with every order choose a size down because my o rings came through and they didnt even stay on the tunnel they were that stretched i am wearing these eyelets without o rings because the o rings just kept coming off. The jewelery itself is great but the o rings need improving minor detail but something i had trouble with and thought worth mentioning. That and i never get the "free" o rings with my oreders Whats the deal?
Posted on 6/13/2008
Gauge purchased: 2g. I bought these a while back and were by far the best steel tunnels i've worn. I love that the thickness of the actual metal is thicker than most eyelets and it gives it a bit of weight, while not being too heavy. They really make your piercing look bigger because the humongous flares. Awesome buy. When i get to 1/2" i'm buying another pair because I'll be staying at 1/2" for a long time.

When I was at 10g I had a pair of the economy eyelets, which I thought were cute enough, but they kept slipping through my ears. When I got these I was stunned at the difference - they are so much shinier and more impressive, and the flare is a much better size! They're a little long for my rather thin lobes, but not so much that it's a problem. When I can't decide what plugs to wear, I wear these.

These eyelets are ridiculously shiny and perfect. They were used to stretch up a while ago, which went without a hitch at all. Definitely considering buying these if you're looking for a higher-end product (maybe your goal size, etc). This is completely retarted.
I own a pair of acrylic plugs, at 1 1/2"
and the wearable is 1/2"
and they don't even come close to fitting.
WHY oh WHYY would you make it the larger the gauge, the smaller the wearable space??
everyone i've ever met over 1" has WIDE lobes.
IF YOU'RE OVER 1" DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Just got these in an updated size.. I realized the wearable area would increase at 11/16, and unfortunately, the lenght jump was heavy indeed. I hope IS will alter this in the future, seing how the lenght is a problem addressed by many.
But the front wiew is a delight as allways, and the polish unbeatable. They are defenite attention-seekers. Hard-core yet very classy.
Posted on 2/16/2008
I have theese in 9/16, and am just on the verge of my second purchase. They took a while to get used to because of the enourmous flares (they almost cover my lobes), but now I find it to be the best thing about them. When it comes to the lenght it's true they're quite generous, and that may be a problem due to their weight. Just add a few extra o-rings though, 3 in a row did the trick for me. Finally, I'ts a pussle why theese are cheaper than Anatometal. I own eyelets from both brands, and find them to be very similar. A great buy!
Posted on 2/15/2008
The finish on these eyelets is phenomenal compared to economy ones I've always used before. They're so shiny you just want to look at them all the time. However the length of these was far too much for my lobes, they slide around quite a bit. A variety of lengths would make these perfect.
Posted on 2/5/2008
a short while ago a friend of mine gave me a pair of these in 1 1/8" (which was VERY generous) and they were incredible. they had a bit of weight to them, which was nice, but nothing compared the stone i'd been wearing before. the finish was flawless, pretty big flares (major plus), and really they compliment the piercing. everyone kept asking me if i'd stretched. definitely worth it.
Posted on 1/4/2008
I got these in 9/16" and 5/8" to stretch up with, and they're amazing. Because they're single flare, this doesn't have anything to do with stretching, but the flare on my 9/16" is gigantic. It makes your ear look way bigger, but that's just a warning for people who don't like large front flares. Also, I'm highly satisfied with these. I've bought them in 4 sizes so far, and I plan on getting more as I stretch further.

I just bought these single flares in a 2g a few months ago and I love them even though their too small now. :( But I am totally getting a bigger pair after I stretch again! The only complaint I have is that I had both o rings fall out so I put them a little past the groves so there is no way their coming out. :)
Posted on 7/18/2007
Well, I've already left a review for these in 2g, and I got them in 7/16" today. Man, these things are gonna be my new stretching jewelry. I used them for my 2g stretch, and for this 7/16" stretch. When combined with the IS concave tapers, a stretch can't go any smoother. I'd recommend these completely. They're totally worth the money guys. If you're gonna get tunnels, GET INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH! It's really worth the extra buck.
Posted on 7/11/2007
So shiny! I have these in 4ga, and they look and feel great. The groove holds on the o-ring very well, and they were very easy to put in because the edges of the groove are smooth and rounded. They are quite long for my thin lobes, but not long enough to get in the way. I like these lots.

Just got these in the mail in 2g, and I couldn't be happier. As soon as I got them, I washed them and put them in, and they're absolutely beautiful. Mirror shine, and they slid right in. The grooves for the O-rings really are awesome, and it helps them stay in really well. They sit flush with my thick lobes, and I love it. If you're looking for amazing tunnels, get these.

These are great....I bought a 2gauge for my labret the length is perfect. After awhile the metal starts to irritate my lip but it's only for fun, so I just take it out and put a different one in. And as always Exceptionally fast delivery!!

i know how it is not being able to find large gauge jewewlry in iowa as well. i bought a pair of these a long time ago in 1 3/8, old style. they didnt even fit, i have fat lobes, i was so pissed off. but a year ago or so when i hit 2 inches i made sure to buy the df, they were tough to get in cuz the flare so i had to actually stretch up a little. im at 2 1/4 now but i love my 2 inch DF so much that i actually downsize sometimes JUST to wear them....plus its healthy on ur lobes too.

I'm from Iowa and larger gauge jewelry is very hard to find, especially if your NOT close to a big city! I've always been partial to Industrial Strength's steel single flares and since they've phased out their old style flares in favor for the new style (yuckkkk)..BAF went the extra mile for me by sending a pic of the 1" sss-sfe they had in stock at my request so I'd know if the jewelry was old or new style....They were old and I was soooo happy, I bought 'em!!!! Thanx again BAF....you guys ROCK :-)

Ok first of all I wanna say I got these 24 hours after I ordered em! That's what I call service! I ordered these in 2" and they're incredible!the wearing surface fits me perfect. These have been my favorite type of plugs since I was at a 00 ga. and I'm so glad I finally got em in 2 inch.. I would've gotten the DF but at this size I persoanlly feel that they're waaay too big.. I can't get my ear over the flair on these ones so I doubt df would work. But I do recomend these in any size to everyone! So get em

worth every penny! I was debating whether to get these 2g eyelets or the less expensive ones. I'm so glad I just went ahead and got these. The length is just fine, and they really are perfectly made. beautiful and very comfortable.

I have these in 7/16", 4g, and 6g. All very wonderful, smooth as glass, great shine, nice long length. I wouldn't expect anything less from IS.

I have 1 1/2 holes and bought these a yr. ago and still wear em and they fit fine. If they were any longer they would be hanging out the other end especially if there was a groove for the o rings and they were longer. They work great in big sizes.

okay okay. about the length. i have thin lobes...so the length is great. i also have nostrils...and these eyelets are too long for them. great make, comfy as hell...but a variety of lengths would kick ass.

I ordered these in 2g and love them! I read previous comments about them being too short for some, so I knew they would be perfect for me. My lobes are thin (not "fleshy") and I usually find most flares/plugs too long. Great price, too... less than other popular net sites for the same brand. ... and faster shipping. I'll definately be back!

im going to have to give my first bad jewelry review ever. i got these from a friend, and i have to agree with that other review, these are WAY to short. i couldnt even wear them at all, and now i have to buy the same exact plugs in double flare. its a little irritating since they are so expensive, but hey, what are you going to do right? there is no groove for oring which is rather irritating, but it wouldnt have made much of a difference anyway, since they are so short. for the price, i think they could be longer.

I bought these in 1/2' for newly stretched lobes. They are gorgeous eyelet, flawless, and had plenty of space for my 'relatively thin' lobes. I would recommend these to anyone, just watch out if you have thick lobes, you might be warped for your dinero!

I think these plugs are fantastic. I read the other review but decided to get 00g and they are great. Maybe in the larger sizes the wearable area is small, but on the smaller sizes there is more than enough ample room to wear them.

dont ever buy these, buy double flared, its worth the wait, the wearing surface is like .0964, its a joke i bought mine is 1 3/8 so therefore there was no groove and i couldnt even wear them, this much money down the drain, i figured IS would realize to put grooves on these and make them a little longer i'm so mad i just wasted this much money dont ever buy these.......
