How and why we sell reasonably priced items
You can usually tell a high quality piece of jewelry by it's price. Top quality jewelry is always made from implant grade metals, has a mirror polished surface, and is internally threaded (except in a few cases).
You can trust that manufacturers with these names make the best jewelry in the industry: Anatometal, Industrial Strength, GoodArt, LeRoi, Custom Steel, Steel Skin, Body Circle Designs, Glasswear Studios, Gorilla Glass, and Liquid Glass.
This jewelry usually has the lowest price tag and is very common items. This doesn't mean it's bad quality, it just means that it's not top grade. Most of this type of jewelry you can find just about anywhere (basic barbells, acrylic jewelry, basic captives, and the list goes on and on). 95% of this jewelry is externally threaded and made from basic stainless steel and grade 5 titanium (not implant grade steel or titanium).
For the price, it's a great deal. Don't let yourself be fooled by sites charging $9.99 for a barbell with acrylic balls. It's the same stuff, no matter where you shop. In this case for economy items, lower prices means you are not getting gouged.
We decided that it doesn't make good business sense to price gouge our customers on jewelry. We charge what we think is fair for the item and still competitive with other sites. Body jewelry prices are going lower and lower. This doesn't mean the quality is worse.. it's just means it's better for you (the customer) because by sites competing you reap the benefits of lower prices.
Unlike most other jewelry companies we carry both ends of the spectrum: top quality and economically priced jewelry. This way you have the choice of where you want to spend your money. If you need a few items that are top grade, and others that aren't then we can accomodate that need.
