Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

A fairly standard piece. I prefer half-domes to balls because they lie flatter in my philtrum piercing.

I purchased this to use for a tongue piercing thinking that the half dome would be comfortable. Would not recommend as they edges of the half dome turned out to be very uncomfortable worn for a tongue piercing, also very hard to screw in. May work well for other areas.

It took a little bit to get this threaded on to my IS labret, as it's pretty fiddly. But it looks great and sits very well.
