These balls are NOT dimpled out on the sides. They are solid round rubber balls made for ball & socket rings (where the ring comes and clasps around the ball). These are great for being able to take balls in/out easily since they are made from rubber and are somewhat flexible.

I really liked the idea of this product, but I don't feel like the ball will really stay in long term. I wouldn't wear it in jewelry that I leave in overnight. But it does look nice =]

I bought this to use with some CBR that my boyfriend bought me, because at a 16g, the balls are very tiny and hard to get on. The 3/8 was WAYYY to big for me to use in any of my jewelry :/ I should have looked at the sizes more carefully!
