Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

Product information

The threading is set in genuine stone balls, fastened by adhesive. Over-tightening of the ends can break that seal, and separate the ball from the threaded stem.

Please note, the ends are not counter sunk to accommodate a barbell shaft.

I actually really like this little bead! I was a bit hesitant to purchase one of these because I thought the threaded peg might be loose or that there would be adhesive residue on the stone around it, but that is not the case. It's polished beautifully, no imperfections, and the stone itself is lovely. I'll definitely be ordering more of these in different stones in the future!

I bought these as a present for my husband and he really likes these. They have small inclusions which is perfect cause you can see it's amber and not plastic. Very pretty!
