Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

These are all hand made and matched the best they can be. Each piece will vary a bit as it's impossible to have two identical pieces.

I really like the whimsical feel of these plugs. They are long like the photos showed, so I was expecting the length they are. The photos seem pretty close to showing the correct proportion. They are super comfortable and lightweight, especially for such a long earring. My only complaint is that the blue is quite dark, and the sparkles are hardly noticeable. This might be a positive for some of you. I think I was just spoiled though because I have a set of 0 gauge 9's that are blue and sparkly. They are more transparent and catch the light wonderfully. I expected these to be more like that. But I do still like the color and the shape and will be wearing them frequently as my clothing ensemble allows.
