Due to the nature of this stone, it is common for every pair to have a few naturally occurring geodes/holes along the bands in the wearable. This stone is not completely smooth like black onyx or quartz crystal.
These holes should not interfere with every day wear, but should not be left in for extended periods of time without being cleaned.
The below measurements are approximate:
8g has a 1/4" (6.5mm) front flare.
6g has a 9/32" (7mm) front flare.
4g has a 13/32" (10.5mm) front flare.
2g has a 15/32" (12mm) front flare.
0g has a 1/2" (12.7mm) front flare.
00g has a 9/16" (14mm) front flare.
7/16" has an 11/16" (18mm) front flare.
1/2" has a 3/4" (19mm) front flare.
9/16" has a 13/16" (21mm) front flare.
5/8" has a 7/8" (22mm) front flare.
3/4" has a 1" (25.7mm) front flare.
7/8" has a 1-1/8" (28.5mm) front flare.
1" has a 1-1/4" (32mm) front flare.
All sizes have a 3/8" wearable

These are far more subtle in person than in the stock photos, and in poor light, almost look brown. I like the striations, though, and I wear these when I want my jewelry to be less noticeable.

This plugs are just absolutely gorgeous. The colors are amazing and they go beautifully with my gold septum ring!

Overall im pretty pleased with these. I love the mayan flare style - these are my 6th pair. 1 of the plugs has good patination and looks like crazy lace. The other, not any really, more a splodge of colours. Good for the price IMO.

These plugs are great! The agate is beautiful and the Mayan flare helps show off the stone even at a relatively small size. I thought the fronts might outweigh the back and cause them to hang strangely, but that doesn't seem to be a problem, at least not in 00.

A little hard to get in as the back flare is a tad big, but after you get them in they're super comfy. the color is nice and mine has a sort of transparent spot that adds to its uniqueness
