I fell in love with the color variation on these ones. They are so lightweight, it feels as if there is nothing in. The texture I wasn't fond of. It most certainly feels like wood. Not when wearing, but just running your figures over it. It feels very porous. I really drenched them with oil before i wore them, so ive not had any problems. I haven't worn these for more than a few hours, but I suspect prolonged wearing might grab your ear oils and leave you dry. At this size they seem a little fragile.

WOW, beautiful colors! The ones that were shipped to me are a light tan color, with gorgeous veining throughout. Lots of dark brown markings, just what I was hoping for! They are a little on the small side when holding them in your hand, but in the ear it's not a big deal. And for the price, no complaints! My first organic purchase, and I'm so happy! Thanks BAF!

I was a little disappointed in these. The striations are so VERY light. Looking through the submitted pics even the smaller gauges have way more contrast than these, so I don't think it's the gauge size. From less than a foot away they just look like blonde wood. The carving and matching is perfect. I was wanting a pair of light colored wood spirals anyway so I'm fine with it. I understand wood can vary, but I think before I purchase another pair of tamarind wood spirals I would want to see a pic of what I'm actually purchasing. I do like these, just not what I was looking for exactly. I did send a message with my order asking for a pair that had great contrasting with the light and dark, but maybe this is all they had left in stock in my size?
