Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

This item is hand carved from organic material and the gauge will vary +/- up to 0.5mm.

8g are about 2-3/8" tall by 1-1/8" wide.
4g are about 2-1/" tall by 1-1/8" wide.
2g are about 3" tall by 1-1/2" wide.

Each piece has a 1/8" insertion gap

These are absolutely beautiful. The wood is a variegated springy green and the design reminds me of a dragon. They are LARGE and brush my shoulders. Despite their size, they are surprising light and very comfortable to wear. Like all wood pieces they do need to be lubed up liberally.
