Which is better?
Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

This item is hand carved from organic material and the gauge will vary +/- up to 0.5mm.

These are the last of these lines of Intrepid jewelry, and are a bit off. Some of the gauges are slightly off, although we've sorted them as accurately as possible. Additionally, the coloring of the horn may differ a bit, and carving may be a bit rough around the star (but [b]not[/b] on the wearable.) The carving itself is generally very close between pairs.

Additionally black horn may have some remaining polishing compound on them (which is a very striking green.) It can be gently scraped off with your fingernail or such without causing any harm to the jewelry.

Attention international customers:
Due to the fragile/large nature of this product, it needs to be shipped in a box rather than a bubble mailer. This will increase shipping costs at checkout.

I'm enjoying these earrings so far. I'm getting used to wearring hanging earrings again after years of wearing earskins and plugs. These are super light-weight and comfortable, even to sleep in (which I don't recommend, but happened by accident). I own 2 pairs of earrings made of horn and while it's best to handle with care when putting in, they don't move around much once in the ear.

Except for tiny bits of green on the stars (which can be picked off) these are perfect. I wear them through earskins and they look super classy.

Gauge purchased: 2g. These are the first pair of hanging gauges that i bought and i'm glad. They are really light and don't get caught on anything- perfect :)
