Which is better?
Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

Please be simple & to the point, for example: 1/2" long; ALL polish; 3/16" balls. We do not need extra information such as "Please get this 14g item in all dark blue with 3mm balls". Whatever you type in goes directly to the company, so less text, and straight to the point is better.

After you have typed in your specs, select the item you want in the drop down menu and hit "Add to cart". If you accidentally mess up, just remove the item from your cart and then re-add it.

The colour of the alexandrite gem is pleasing to the eyes and the overall finish of the curved barbell is great. Love it!

14g  (8mm gem)
8mm AB gem on a 1/4" barbell. Perfection. My navel just was made for this piercing, so sad. I can't look at this piece in my jewelry box or I'll start thinking about a 3rd attempt at a navel piercing. Thanks for accommodating my crazy short barbell request.

I ordered: 14g (8mm gem) 1/4" length AB gem. The AB gem is absolutely gorgeous, the photo does it no justice at all. It is so colorful like an opal, but with the clarity and and sparkle of a diamond. There are so many facets on the underside, it just glitters. The short length is exactly what I asked for and is just what I needed. The steel is very highly polished. I didn't take the time to look at the threading as I put it in right away. This is exactly the jewelry I've been wanted since before I got my navel pierced, I'm so glad to finally have it. It makes me smile every time I see it, especially after my previous much-too-long-for-me jewelry, which equaled an unhappy navel. The wait for this piece was longer than I expected, but not more than promised. Ordered on 6/6, shipped on 7/9, and received on 7/15. It probably would have been faster if BAF hadn't took 2 weeks to review my order, I don't know if that's typical. However, it was definitely well worth the wait.
