I love how the oilslick looks, but it keeps coming off on the balls. This is my second one, a replacement for the first barbell. It's not like it's faded (because anodization does that over time), it's like it came off in chunks. And, while i have no evidence of these "flakes", that's just what it looks like happened. It only happened on the balls, not the barbell. I'll probably just live with it and not get another. It's not worth replacing, imo. And you can still definitely see the oilslick on the barbell itself, so it does pretty much serve its purpose.

This was ordered on Friday, 10.12.2012 and I received this in the mail on Monday, 10.15.2012. Now this is fast service and I did not use rush delivery. I cleaned this with water and antibacterial soap and it is in my ear as I'm typing this. It is a colorful industrial without being too flashy. I'm so glad that I found this site.

I am really pleased with this item. I was kind of worried about getting a threaded bar because my industrial has issues and I was worried about them ripping at it. However, I didn't feel a thing when I put it in. The color is great and I really want another one.

I've had my industrial for nearly a decade and have never quite found the prefect storm of fit, quality and aesthetics... until this! Its the perfect fit and the oilslick is stunning. Its not as vibrant as some cheap anodized plated steel but definitely pretty.
