Which is better?
Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

Overall length is approximately 5/8" and the gap in the dangle is 5mm.
These come with a 16g 3/8" barbell with 4mm balls, but can be worn with an 18g barbell too.

The shield part is very cool looking however, it was too small to fit over my ear and I ended up getting rid of it. :(

these are REALLY awesome, but be careful where you are placing them! i put mine in my topmost helix piercing, and the folds in my cartilege plus the shape of these was incredibly painful! i had to take them out after only a few hours. probably better for lower down on the ear. really loved the look of them, though.
