THESE RINGS ARE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO GET OPEN. Not having a very local piercer, it is impossible for me to wear. I can not get these open or closed while in-ear, and getting them open/closed out of ear is extremely difficult. I have ring pliers, openers and closers. Saddly these rings are a waste until I find someone with any use for them. I would only reccomend getting these if you have hulk strength or a great local piercer you don't mind visiting when you want a change.

Another addition for my scrotal ladder!if you order this gauge/diameter combo make sure you have a quality set of openers&a set of very strong hands.the hardest part is getting the bead back in.other than that minor annoyance,it's an excellent piece of jewelry!
