Which is better?
Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

Very beautiful colors and true to the piece pictured above! I find it it very comfortable to wear, and want to get some of the other oilslick jewelry for my other piercings now!

I got this for my helix piercing. I love this earring! The external threading makes it easy to put in. My only problem is that the colors aren't that bright and you can't tell there is more than one color even from a close distance. I have to tell everyone that it's supposed to be multi-colored if they see me wearing it. It just looks a murky color in my ear.
