Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. After continuous use in my lip, the colors ended up peeling off. Maybe not the best jewelry for use near mouth, since i think it must of been the saliva that took the color strips off.

14g 1/2" Black stripes
I am extremely happy with these. The barbell larger than what I'm used to wearing and is exactly what I've been looking for. The balls stay on very well, even though I have a bad habit of playing with them too much. Great product.
