Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. I absolutely think this is the cutest piercing ever! I really wish it came in a 14g, I didn't realize I bought a 16g. It was my fault for not looking but I still LOVE it.
