Which is better?
Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

Product information
One ball is 4mm with a clear gem, the other is 5mm. The labret post is 3/8", while the straight vertical area is 7/16". The inner diameter between the labret post and the farthest curve of the arch is approximately 9/16". The top ball extends about 5/16" from the back vertical post.

The arch was a bit big. I haven't worn it that much, but hopefully it's comfortable when I do decide to keep wearing it.

This piece is very cool, but a little large (on me) for its intended purpose. I'm not worried, as I have a couple of other places where it looks equally cool! :)
