Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

Inner diameter hole is approximately 14mm which allows a perfect fit for a 5/8" barbell with 5mm balls or if you don't want as snug a fit try a 3/4" barbell. Barbell is NOT included.

I was waiting for decorative sheilds made of stainless steel, and snowflakes are my favorite shape. Definatily heed the size discriptions as I thought I could get away with 9/16" bar, but nada. They seem very comfortable, so looking forward to getting some new bars soon.
