Which is better?
Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

Inner Diameter Hole is Approx 14mm which allows a perfect fit for a 5/8" barbell with 5mm balls or if you don't want as snug a fit try a 3/4" barbell. These nipple Shields are made with Pewter as the base metal (lead free, nickle free, silver plated, ecoat - will not tarnish).

These are super pretty, but unfortunately for me, the part where the barbell goes is very raised and it feels very uncomfortable on my nipples to wear for long periods of time. Regardless, they are cute :)

These shields are gorgeous! As soon as I got them out of the package they came in, I was in awe. They are a bit snug, but not to the point of being bothersome. I am very pleased with these shields.

i had to get my nipples erect enough to get these in and about 10 minutes in, i decided to take them out. i could feel my boobs breath a huge sigh of relief. i didn't think my nipples were that small, but apparently they are. it's a shame, since these are very ornate and pretty. i recommend these for people with long nipples and small aureole since these did not cover half of my 'shading'. it sucks i can't do anything but stare at these since they've been retired to the box i keep my jewelry in. boo.

These are beautiful nipple shields, the quality is exceptional. They are a bit heavy, but you need to make sure you have the 5/8ths barbell, mine were too short to fit properly. I would buy again from your company and would recommend it to others.

I was very pleased with the quality of this shield; it reflects light well and is sturdy - but heavy. Unfortunatly, I have keloids on that particular piercing and the shield couldn't fit over them! If you have long-healed nipple piercings that can handle the weight of a shield, they are certainly a beautiful piece for any collection.
