Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

The carving on these is AWESOME. My only complaint is that they sit sideways within my ear, lining up with the side of my neck, not facing 'front' like I would prefer. They're gorgeous, though :D

Couldn't wait for BAF to get these in, and I love them to bits. The detailed carving is on the fronts only, so you have to make a judgement call on wearing them with the design facing outward or having it frame your face. The carving is awesome and the sticks that hold them in ear are surprisingly secure. Not too heavy, either.
