Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

Good stuff: these are absolutely gorgeous. Great detail and they just look awesome. Despite being a big hanging design, it's really light because it's made of horn. Bad stuff: the points are pretty sharp and get tangled in my hair and stuff. Also, for the pairs with the hooks, the little spike the closes off the hook is very thin and is prone to snapping if you're not careful when you're putting it in.

These are great. I wear them with earskins since I am at 9/16". Also gotta have your hair pulled back and no fluffy collars, the tips are quite pokey.

These are way cooler in person! I use them as my "fancy" earrings and I get a ton of compliments on them. They reallllly hurt to sleep on so these are not for every day wear.

Beautifully carved jewelry. They are a little smaller then I expected them to be though. I'm also afraid that the small pins will break soon, so I'll have to be careful with that. Luckily there are some extra pins included. Very pleased with the way they look!

These are lovely and fun; people get a kick out of them. In hindsight, I wish I would have purchased them in a smaller size, so that they could have swung to and fro in my ear.
