These are made from silver, but it's a low grade silver from China. We would HIGHLY recommend wearing these through another type of jewelry made from a safer material. Clear silicone earskins would do really well or basic steel eyelets and things of that sort.

Using a basic polishing cloth would brighten these up as well!

OMG, these are awesome! They're so detailed! The only problem is that you have to really clean them when you get them. I got tons of black stuff off of them. I'd definitely wear them through earskins. The best thing about them is that my husband loves them, and he's not into mods at ALL! I can't wait to wear them!

These hoops are amazing :) they are a perfect weight and diameter. They did come with some black gunk on them but i got it off with a tissue and some hand sanitizer :P

These are really neat. They had some sort of black stuff on them, but I got it off using a silver cleaning soak, an old toothbrush, and then washing them off with dish soap. They aren't shiny, but they still look like silver and the dragon part is super cool.

Gauge purchased: 8g these are just really cute. i wear them through 5/8" tunnels and they are just darling.
