I found the 1/2" diameter to be bigger than I'm used to for pinchers and would probably recommend the smaller sizes, especially for more feminine faces. This also makes it hard to flip up if or when I want to, and I consider myself to have large nostrils. Even when I do, I find the tips to be quite sharp. So really this is a good basic pincher that wears comfortably and stays in nicely. However it is not friendly to being flipped up at all, and I always like having that option available to me.

I tentatively bought these for my boyfriend, whom fell in love with them. They haven't caused him irritation, and they look incredible in his ears! They fall out if you lose a single o-ring, however, so be sure to stock up. They're definitely worth the effort.

This is a great classic piece. If you have a septum you should have one of these in your collection.
