My second abalone pincher in this size. The first one eventually broke, and this one did too. I loved them both.

Over all I was not too happy with this piece of jewelery because it was so short you could barely see it under my nose and its wearable area was a tad too small. Although it is a gorgeous looking piece, I would really brace yourself for it to possibly be slightly altered to the ones in the photos. It could suit some face/nose shapes better but it personally did not work out for me.

I ordered two of these and made the mistake of telling a friend about it...she insisted I give her the prettier one because it was more symmetrical. But I just wore the one I kept for the first time the other day, and I've worn it almost every day since because it's really grown on me. It's very beautiful, even though it's not perfectly symmetrical [which I think really gives it a handmade look]. Both sides are very nice, and the side I prefer to be facing outward when it's in my septum has colors ranging from purple to bright green. I'm sad there's no more in 14g or I'd probably order three more. If your septum [or wherever else you'd wear this] is the right size for one of these, I think you'd be missing out on something wonderful if you didn't own one.
