This item is hand carved from organic material and the gauge will vary +/- up to 0.5mm.
These are economy plugs--the quality is "so-so". The overall shape of the plug can be a bit warped and/or the inlays may not be perfectly round.
Overall we think these are a good deal for the price and how beautiful the shell is, but don't expect perfection on them.

Very beautiful plugs for the price. This is the second time I've bought those. Like the first one I've put clear nail polish in top of it to be sure not to loose the pieces of shell.

Beautiful! I really liked these plugs, all 4 sides were pretty and different so you can mix it up a bit. The only problem is that after months of wearing them now, one of the inlays just went missing. Overall,for the price, these are great. Too bad it broke,though. I will probably opt for the non-inlay abalone next time.

Well these have already become one of my favourite pairs of plugs. Both sides of these double sided plugs are absolutely stunning and capture the light beautifully. I've had my eye on these for so long and definitely do not regret buying them!

These are beautiful and I got a lot of compliments on them BUT one of them rolled off the sink accidentally ONE time and the inlay came out. It looks like I can super glue it back in or something, but I am a little disappointed that it broke so easily. That being said, I would definitely buy them again, just keeping in mind that they need to be handled extra carefully.
