It's probably the small size, but the plugs I received don't look amber or purple, just yellow. I'm sure the look better in larger sizes. Still, I got some decent looking plugs for the price. The length is great, but the flares are really small, and they tend to slip out sometimes.

These are some of my favorite glass plugs. At such a small size, the purple doesn't really show, but I was expecting as much when I ordered them. Mine turned out to be a deep orange with a beautiful opaque yellow swirl going throughout. The flare is a little smaller than I would like, but it does the job.
