It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

All sizes have an outer diameter of approximately 1-1/8".

Love love LOVE these. Very cute and lightweight, but on that note, not extremely durable (at least in 10g). So I wouldn't recommend sleeping with them in, but that was my fault. I would have bought them again in a heartbeat if the super glue hadn't worked ;)
