Which is better?
Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

This item is hand carved from organic material and the gauge will vary +/- up to 0.5mm.

The average diameter on these is 1/2".

The gap on these to put the jewelry in is pretty small, especially on smaller sizes. We would not recommend these for people with thick lobes because chances are they won't fit. If you try to "open" these up they will snap because they are made of horn. In order to get these on your lobe will have to get squished a little bit to fit into the gap and then once it slides in it will be fine.

6g has an insertion gap of approximately 1/8".
4g and 2g have an insertion gap of approximately 3/16".

I was expecting these to actually be a bit smaller. They're easy to put in, And easy to remove. They have a beautiful shine, and mine were well matched. Just a warning if you wear a knit sweater of keep your hair down they get caught easily.

Good quality for the super low price. Didn't realize they came singly, so I accidentally ordered just one the first time! Turned out I got another that matched well in both color and size.

It's been over a year since I ordered my last pair of these coils. I lost one sometime in between now and then. I ordered a single replacement. It's a slight bit thinner than the original, but of course there's always some variation in sizes of a product like this. My lobe piercings are fairly flexible - I wear anywhere from a 4ga to 0ga, and depending on the design, they fit well. This 4ga horn fits snug but easy.
