Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

A clear core of molten glass is rolled in glass powders and fused at 1800 degrees farenheit. Vertigo Claws have a matte finish, with a ground and polished face to create a "window" into the interior of the piece. There is some variation in the VERTIGO series due to the unpredictability of working with fused glass powders.

These plugs are simple and beautiful. The front face on the plug has a nice shine that contrasts nicely with the frost of the curve of the plug. I'd had these in a smaller gauge and am very impressed with how they look in the larger size.

Im a big fan of glass claws and curls,and these are the highest quality pair I've seen. The matte finish on the ear-side is a great feel and the shine on the fronts is a beautiful gloss that stays that way despite lots of abuse. The weight is minimal for such nice plugs. My favorite glass plugs by far with unparalleled craftsmanship.

Gauge purchased: 4. I bought these in Orange and Brown/White. I love them both, but the orange ones are the show-stealers for me. They're perfect, gauge-wise, and so fun just to stare into the window of glass in the front! These are so original, and I intend to have them in all colors once I've reached my destination of 0ga.

Gauge purchased:0 gauge. i ordered the white & brown vertigo claws & they are a thing of beauty! the claw is striped lengthwise; white, clear & brown. the stripes start bold but fade towards the tip of the claw from fine to all white. the whole claw is matte in finish while the flare is clear & shiny & one can see into the claw through the flare, giving it a tunnel effect appearance. also, they are not too heavy nor do they hang very low; i mostly wear plugs in my ears but some times want a different look & cant quite pull off the longer spirals - the vertigo claws are perfect though & i highly recomend them.

Gauge purchased: 1/2" purple these are really cool. the length of the claw has a mat finish and the front flare is perfectly smooth and clear.
