I've used these before in 8g and 6g when i was struggling to get barbels in my tongue after a taper. I can confirm that with IS barbels these things are indispensable. However stupidly i did not read the disclaimer stating these only work for IS jewellery and tried it with a 4g anatometal barbel - they do not fit, at all. so while i give this product top marks make sure you are only using it with IS jewellery.

3" long, 2.04mm in diameter at the fat end according to my digital calipers and a nicely rounded point, so it won't try to dig in. I recommend it wholeheartedly before any flat or concave based taper.

Bought this for changing jewelry in my medusa piercing, helps sooooo much!! These tapers are worth every penny, it makes for such a smooth jewelry transition.

I got this taper for stretching my apadravya. I had the same one for 8g and it is just perfect with the barbell for easy insertion. I love how easy they are to use and super high quality!
