Which is better?
Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

This item is hand carved from organic material and the gauge will vary +/- up to 0.5mm.

This is made from the lighter (more golden and brown) colors of water buffalo horn. Each pair is matched as closely as possible.

I purchased the last pair of these Golden Horn Swan Spirals in 6G for my third piercing. Before doing so, I confirmed with BAF that the pair was a good match in color/size and, upon receipt, I was more than pleased with my purchase. They are beautiful and I'm glad I made the purchase. The pair I got in 8g is a rich dark brown, with subtle thin striping. The shape is lovely in ear. I've owned horn before and thought I didn't like the material, but since these were cheap, I decided to take a chance. Lesson learned: quality matters. These slid into my ears like butter. I <3 Diablo Organics.
