Which is better?
Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

Product information

The threading of each end is set directly in each synthetic opal ball, fastened there by adhesive. Over-tightening of the ends can break that seal, and separate the ball from the threaded stem.

Please note, the ends are not counter sunk to accommodate the ends of the barbell shaft.

These look phenomenal on. I have them as nipple barbells and they catch the light well, have good fire, and look much nicer than a lot of synthetic opal jewelry I have seen. Great purchase!

The 1/2" bar was a little short. This is hands down my favorite tongue ring! I'm obbsessed with opal, and this just looks very classy and expensive (because it is) for a tongue ring! I also love the 4mm balls, very dainty compare to normal 5mm tongue ring balls. This is a great tongue ring and well worth the money! Sometimes comes unscrewed but can easily be tightened. Don't miss out on these barbells, I will be buying more for my nipple rings soon :)
