These rings are extremely high quality made from 14k gold. They are essentially a segment ring but are "hinged" so that you can easily pop it open and then close it back shut. You don't have to worry about losing your segment or prying it out with pliers.

The quality on this is outstanding - it really is a premium piece, and I wish they weren't discontinued. The shine and polish is brilliant, and the hinged mechanism seems durable and secure. I LOVE this!
