Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

I ordered them after a long wait, and they are even better then I've expected. The details are great and delicate, the are very light-weight and I absolutely love them!

These are really really detailed. I'm currently 2g and I bought a 4g size to wear through earksins. Due to the shape, they stay put really well, was never worried about them falling out. The pair I received had a ton of stripes (like the left-most one in the product picture). Fine with me, but I wish I got an all black pair!
